Patrick is deeply interested in the underlying connection between philosophy and psychology, holding an MSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex and a BA in Philosophy from De La Salle University. Having spent most of his early life in the Philippines, he is acutely aware of the differing cultural and geopolitical interplays which affect mental health. Currently, he is a postgraduate student in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London and a psychotherapy and counselling trainee in transactional analysis via the United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA) under the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Ultimately, he is committed to exploring the intersection of psychological issues relating to social class, trauma, identity, discrimination, neurodiversity, attachment, heritage, and spirituality, towards the goal of fostering holistic care for the self and others. https://thelasallian.com/author/patrick-chan/
