Nurturing the Fields of Change: Collective Dreaming for Emergence

Join our last session in the 2024 journey of Nurturing the Fields of Change, Alef Trust’s community of practice for holistic change facilitation and inner development. Our next cycle starts in early 2025 – details will be shared soon.

As facilitators of holistic processes we often serve as translators, making what is considered niche and novel more accessible to the mainstream. This requires us to be fluent in the languages of those we hope to engage and inspire – from funding bodies and sponsors, to governmental and community stakeholders.

How we language and share ideas and concepts in specific contexts is vital – much can be lost in the gaps between us, and misunderstandings and preconceptions can cause fissures in the relational architectures of our projects.

There is value in providing simple yet evocative framing and scaffolding for ideas and processes, which then enable people to make sense of something on their own terms.

The meaning and results of holistic change projects are best communicated through diverse approaches – blending artful, poetic and story-driven narrative with appropriate quantitative measurements – nourishing hearts and minds.

In this session we explore these languaging demands together. Bring your examples of the most skillful and inspiring storytelling you have seen!
