Embodied Imagination Lab: Wisdom of the Invisible

March 30, 2025 @ 7:00 pm (BST) - June 22, 2025 @ 9:00 pm (BST)

As we navigate times of great uncertainty, the role of embodied imagination in helping us to make sense of what we are experiencing and to skilfully navigate the unknown couldn’t be more significant.

The pathways ahead aren’t linear. As we are steeped in complexity, we are called to cultivate embodied, spiritual and collective wisdom, honouring our deepest sources of intelligence, to manifest a better future together. Our imagination offers us powerful pathways to tap and channel these deep sources of intelligence. You are invited to join Dr. Jessica Bockler in exploring our embodied imagination as a pathway to social change…

This is a closed lab consisting of 4 monthly sessions, following the rhythms of the New Moon, on Sundays closest to the New Moon cycle: 30 March, 27 April, 25 May & 22 June (17:00-19:00 UK time).

Before beginning her professional journey as a transpersonal psychologist and co-founding the Alef Trust, Jessica Bockler spent the best part of 15 years in a creative deep dive, exploring theatre and dance practices as a vehicle for inner development. She spent time with master practitioners of Eastern and Western performance and martial arts traditions, trained with experimental performance ensembles in Europe and the US, and journeyed alongside them, learning about their work and philosophy.

In this monthly lab Jessica Bockler brings together the principles she discovered in creative ritual arts. Together we will explore:
  • The conditions for transformation: How to prepare the inner and outer space for generative creative work.
  • The the role of rigour in practice: How to engage with arising challenges in constructive and energising ways.
  • Working with asocial intent: How to soften the ego’s hold, put social roles aside and maintain a compassionate attitude towards self and other, to nurture a sacred working atmosphere, permitting more expanded states of consciousness.
  • The meaning of presence: How to foster non-judgemental awareness, channel attention through intention, and de-automatise the body-mind.
  • The role of emptiness and no-form: How to make space for emergence, by resting in embodied stillness and silence as a way to expression.
  • Channels of information: How to identify and understand our sensory and extra-sensory channel preferences, activating channels and blending channels through expressive practices.

Please note that these sessions will not be recorded, as we are engaging in ritual practice and want to establish an ‘extra-daily’ energetic container for the work. So, only register, if you can attend live.
