Beyond the Brain

November 7, 2025 @ 11:00 am (GMT) - November 9, 2025 @ 6:00 pm (GMT)

At a time of global uncertainty and shifting paradigms, this conference brings science and spirituality into dialogue. Now in its 30th year, it gathers leading researchers and thinkers to explore consciousness beyond the brain — from near-death experiences to multiversal identity and cosmic ecology. Keynote speakers include Dr Raymond Moody, Anita Moorjani, Dr Sam Parnia, Dr Rupert Sheldrake, and Prof Donald Hoffman, who will explore near-death experiences, multiversal identity, synaesthesia, cosmic ecology, and the boundaries of perception.

A session hosted by Alef Trust faculty Dr Bethany Butzer and Dr Tadas Stumbrys showcases recent work by MSc graduates. Featured projects include Tony Lee’s exploration of synchronicity in guiding life purpose, Georgia Black’s study of collective morphic resonance through word puzzles, and Paul McKeever’s research into the role of belief in healing practices. These presentations highlight how experiential, scientific, and applied approaches converge to expand understanding of consciousness and its practical applications in personal and professional contexts.

Beyond the Brain offers a unique space to engage with the latest findings, discuss transformative ideas, and explore the question: does consciousness extend beyond the brain?
